Black Women’s Health Collective

I worked with Black Women’s Health Collective to create a vibrant, hand-drawn logo and visual identity that is rooted in the empowerment of Black women, and the Collective’s commitment to their care and wellbeing.

Discovery

The BWHC was looking for a logo that would capture the essence of their work — joyful, grounded, and rooted in liberation.

I took direct inspiration from photos that they sent me and used it to create a series of custom illustrations.

Illustration

It was important to me that the BWHC's visual identity feature a custom illustration. I felt that handdrawn elements helped to better capture the Collective’s vision, along with being a powerful visual storytelling aid.
