National Redistricting Foundation
The National Redistricting Foundation was created pursue legal challenges to gerrymandered congressional and state legislative districts. I led creative direction and brand development for the project, along with overseeing the NRF’s website redesign, which will launch in early 2026.
Discovery
I was deeply inspired by Civil Rights–era protest signs and the photography of Gordon Parks. I wanted the NRF’s visual identity to carry the weight and visual power of that movement — visually connecting the ongoing fight for voting rights to those that came before us.
Typography
I chose VTC Marsha from Vocal Type Co. to play a major role in the NRF’s visual identity. It was important to me to use a typeface that evoked the many interconnected struggles for equality and liberation throughout our country’s history.
