National Democratic Redistricting Foundation

Introduction

The National Democratic Redistricting Committee, chaired by the 82nd Attorney General of the United States, Eric H. Holder, Jr., is the first-ever strategic hub for a comprehensive redistricting strategy.

I joined the NDRC in early 2020, and immediately got to work on updating the organization’s branding and visual identity.

Where We Started

When I joined the NDRC, I inherited an outdated visual identity and lackluster website. It was clear that the NDRC needed a brand and website that matched the urgency and scale of the moment that we were in as an organization.

From Day 1, I worked to reimagine the NDRC’s brand from the ground up. I built a modern, flexible design system, refreshed the NDRC’s visual identity, and worked to redesign and relaunch the NDRC’s website in 2022.

A Dynamic Website

In 2022, I worked with developer Drew McConville to redesign and reimagine the NDRC website from the ground up.

Together, we transformed a basic landing page into a full-scale, dynamic website that serves as a redistricting hub and a powerful tool for supporter engagement.

Brand Evolution

The NDRC brand continues to evolve. After years of informal updates to our brand, we entered into a full-scale re-branding process in 2024 that will be complete in 2026.
